We met with Nigel and Andy at Rioned HQ in Tilburg (Netherlands) to talk about their new positions and plans at Rioned UK.

Andy Greathead started his career in 2002 as Machine Setter/Warehouse Team Leader at Gesipa Blind Riveting Systems. In 2007 he became Warehouse Team Leader at Kemira. For the last five years he was SAP/MRP Production Controller at Fives Cinetic Automation: they are world leaders in CNC grinding machines. Andy knows parts, that’s for certain! Andy’s extensive knowledge in warehousing and distribution will be put to great use in his new job at Rioned UK where he will be responsible for the newly integrated warehouse in Keighley.

Andy is married and proud dad of 3 children. Like Nigel he’s a big football fan. His favorite team: Leads United! An aggressive sportsman himself, Andy loves extreme mountainbiking with his friends in the English Lakes District.

Nigel AllenNigel Allen was fleet and transport manager at Anglian Water for 37 years! After leaving Anglian water he took a well deserved 5 month break to spend time with his family and wind down for a while. Nigel has been in a business relationship with Rioned for years and knows the industry inside and out, and joining Rioned was like a piece of the puzzle falling into place. Nigel is married and has 2 children - and he’s also a proud grandad. He started working at Anglian water in 1978 in a hands-on workshop across the road. In 1989 he was promoted to workshop supervisor and managed 4 workshops from Sheringham Assisstant Fleet Manager ‘till 1996. In 1997 he was promoted to Fleet Manager, around the time that Anglian Water bought their first Rioned PTO (Power Take Off) machine. Nigel worked at Anglian Water till Spring 2015. Working for Rioned, Nigel will now be involved with After Sales and the growing fleet of rental vehicles.

In his sparetime Nigel loves to watch soccer, rooting for Liverpool FC and his beloved local club the Norwich City Canaries. Nigel will be located in Mildenhall, Suffolk
