Thanks to you, our customers and partners, we have once again proven that innovation and craftsmanship go hand in hand. At the Rokatech trade fair in Germany, the leading meeting place for sewer professionals, we demonstrated that we are shaping the future of sewer maintenance and proudly presented our latest developments.
We showcased the completely redesigned AquaJet, which received an overwhelming response from industry experts. With the return of the CityCom, we brought a legend back to life: a combi-unit perfectly suited for use in busy city centres and even capable of accessing low-clearance parking garages. In addition, we redefined reliability with our extended two-year warranty on most high-pressure machines, a promise that provides certainty for your daily operations.
But we are not only looking back. With the introduction of the Essential Series, we are making sewer maintenance more accessible and affordable for everyone. In 2026, we will celebrate a remarkable milestone: our 70th anniversary. And we intend to celebrate it in style.

Progress Across Our Product Range
As our product range continues to grow, we’ve raised the bar with a new 2-year warranty across all van pack, trailer and portable machines. This enhanced cover protects key components, supports approved servicing and gives you direct access to expert assistance when you need it. The result is greater cost control, reduced downtime and equipment that performs at its best for longer.
The All-New AquaJet
The latest AquaJet delivers stronger performance, better efficiency and easier daily operation. It’s powered by a Honda iGX800 engine with electronic fuel injection for higher torque, cleaner running and reliable starting. This works with a Speck triplex plunger pump for smooth output, long service life and automatic bypass protection during pauses or low-load use.
A redesigned frame and protective covers improve durability and maintenance access, while eControl Plus gives clear system feedback via an LCD display. RioMote remote start/stop and an electric hose reel drive come as standard for faster, more controlled hose handling.
With up to 3000 psi at 10 gpm and capacity for pipes up to 350 mm, the AquaJet suits domestic and commercial work. Its compact build and starting weight just over 300 kg make it ideal for lightweight vans and mixed fleets where space and payload matter.

CityCom 2.0 in Action
The CityCom is designed for urban drainage work, where narrow streets, height limits and restricted access make standard combis impractical. Its compact chassis and optional lowered cab allow entry to car parks, service roads and other confined spaces. It also meets Euro 6 standards for clean operation in Low Emission Zones.
Despite its size, the CityCom delivers strong performance: jetting up to 320 bar, 85 l/min, and a 7,200 l/min vacuum system, supported by a 1,700 L wastewater and 600 L clean water tank for continuous work.
Combining high-pressure jetting and vacuum suction in one vehicle cuts the need for multiple machines on site. eControl Plus, RioMote remote operation and noise-reduction features support safe, efficient and discreet work in busy urban areas. It’s a practical, reliable solution for complex city settings.

Celebrating 20 Years of CityJet
This year marked 20 years of the CityJet, one of the most trusted van packs in the industry. Known for durability, ease of use and consistent daily performance, many early units are still operating today, proof of its long lifespan and engineering quality.
To celebrate, we launched the CityJet Anniversary Package, featuring eControl and RioMote for smarter, safer and more efficient jetting. These upgrades improve precision, reduce strain and boost productivity.
The package also includes a free RioMote and a new two-year extended warranty, giving customers immediate remote operation and added long-term protection.

Powerful HandMatic Reboot
The latest HandMatic adds a 600 RPM model for significantly more power in 32–75 mm pipes. A 710 W motor and 80 Nm torque deliver greater force for stubborn blockages without adding weight or compromising ease of use.
A closed cable drum keeps the work area clean, while stepless speed control and automatic cable feed support precise operation in bends and traps. Compatibility with 6, 8 and 10 mm springs offers flexibility across many tasks.
This upgraded HandMatic suits plumbers, maintenance teams and cleaning specialists who face persistent obstructions, retaining the compact, user-friendly design of earlier models with noticeably improved performance.

Introducing the Essential Series: The New Standard for Entry-Level Drain Cleaning
The Essential Series is a new family of compact, affordable jetting machines designed to make professional drain cleaning accessible to more customers worldwide. Built for residential and light commercial work, the range delivers the reliable performance expected from Rioned in simplified, cost-effective packages suited to start-ups, emerging markets and budget-conscious operators.
The series includes four models covering the most common drain cleaning tasks. Essential Series 1 suits light domestic jobs, while Series 1+ provides extra performance for growing businesses. Series 2 introduces a diesel option for professional or municipal users, and Series 3 delivers higher output for more demanding work. All models feature a triplex plunger pump with run-dry protection and a 5-channel remote control for convenient everyday operation.
By offering a straightforward, reliable entry point into professional jetting, the Essential Series broadens customer choice and provides an easy addition for mixed fleets. It complements Rioned’s premium lines by giving operators greater flexibility without compromising build quality or support.

Powering Into 2026 - What’s Next from Rioned
The first half of 2026 will bring several important developments across the Rioned range. We will launch RioConnect, a new telematics platform that gives fleet managers deeper insight into machine usage, maintenance intervals and operational performance. By turning real-time data into actionable information, it will help reduce downtime and extend machine life. Alongside this, our engineering team is advancing a new 18-tonne jetvac tanker designed for demanding municipal and industrial work, offering increased tank capacity, high-spec jetting power and enhanced vacuum performance.
Further product expansion is also underway. Research has begun on a low-cost electric jetter for contractors looking for an affordable step into sustainable technology, while continued investment in inspection equipment, high-speed cleaning systems and steam-based tools will support a broader range of underground maintenance tasks. Together, these developments reflect our commitment to providing a comprehensive suite of solutions that meet the evolving challenges of the sector.
Rioned People
Throughout the year, the Rioned team continued to grow and evolve. New colleagues joined across departments, including production, engineering and customer support, while long-serving employees moved into new roles or concluded their time with the organisation. Beyond day-to-day operations, community engagement remained important. Once again, Team Rioned participated in the We Are Cycling fundraiser, completing a 60-kilometre route through Rotterdam to raise money for KWF Kankerbestrijding. These activities highlight the personal commitment and teamwork that underpin our company culture.
Events and Industry
Rioned was active at key industry events across Europe, Australia and the United States. At RDD Biddinghuizen and RoKaTech, we showcased new technology and met with contractors, municipalities and international partners. No-Dig Down Under, attended alongside our partner SECA, provided an opportunity to present solutions for trenchless applications, while the WWETT Show in Indianapolis allowed us to support Spartan Tool in introducing electric jetters to the American market. These events play an important role in understanding customer needs, gathering industry insights and maintaining strong distributor relationships.
Opening hours during the holidays
During the holiday season, we enjoy spending time with our loved ones. Therefore, from 22 December to 2 January we will be less accessible. On 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January we will be closed. For emergencies, we will be available with limited staffing in the usual way.
